Geographic Availability - Locations and Positions.

Applicants can select up to nine (9) locations to apply to.
Location code "999" is an optional code you can also use.  Code "999" or, as we like to call it,  "The I'll go anywhere code" is the code Forests will use "after" exhausting all available candidates within their own locations.  If you want to be considered in this group, use code "999".  This code does count as one of the 9 allowed location choices.
To look up the location codes for specific Forest Service units, click on each of the following units to see a list of the actual locations including contact information.
Click under the Positions column to find a list of positions to be filled for each unit.  Availability of positions at specific locations is not guaranteed and depends on Forest Service needs.
