Much of this equestrian trail follows along the banks of the South Fork of the Flambeau River, which offers open vistas and opportunities to view wildlife.

Trail Length: 16 miles

What to expect: The trail is peaceful, relatively flat and goes through several different forest types including pine plantations. Smith Rapids Campground is located towards the center of the trail providing a good place for horse riders to use as a starting place for day trips.
