Flowage is the setting for this campground. This quaint carry-in campground
has 4 separate sites equipped with fire grills and picnic tables. There is no screening between the sites and the entire facility may be reserved as one group site. The campground
has direct access to the Ice
Age National Scenic Trail. A boat access, vault toilet, and
drinking water are provided. Campsites may reserved online using
a national reservation
system.
Picnic Point Campground is served by the Mondeau Recreation Area. Visit the Mondeaux Recreation Area web site for more information.
NOTE: Beginning September 8, 2009 and lasting through winter, there will be a drawdown of the water in the flowage in order to complete critical repair work on the dam. Caming and fishing will be affected.
