Located approximately 21 miles from Medford, this campground is perched along the western shores of the Mondeaux Flowage. This 27-unit campground is the most popular on the Mondeaux Flowage. There is a boat access and many sites have small docks which can be used for fishing or landing a boat. The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is easily accessed from the campground. Drinking water, picnic shelter, and vault toilets are provided. Sites may be reserved through a campground reservation system.

Spearhead Point Campground is served by the Mondeau Recreation Area. Visit the Mondeaux Recreation Area web site for more information.

NOTE: Beginning September 8, 2009 and lasting through winter, there will be a drawdown of the water in the flowage in order to complete critical repair work on the dam. Caming and fishing will be affected.

Travel north from Medford on State Highway 13 for 4 miles, then turn left (west) on County trunk Highway M for 7 miles. Turn right (north) on County Trunk Highway E for 8.5 miles, then turn right (east) on Forest Road 106 and look for the entrance sign at the top of the hill.
