Oconto River Seed Orchard Tree Removal Project

Lakewood-Laona District Ranger Jeff Seefeldt has prepared a Decision Memo to remove 21 acres of existing plantations by use of commercial timber harvesting and plant seedlings of disease resistant trees for the purpose of supplying a genetically superior species of native tree at the Oconto River Seed Orchard.
