Closure and Alternate Route of NFSR 2988C

Lakewood-Laona District Ranger Jeff Seefeldt is initiating the closure of National Forest System Road (NFSR) 2988C. This project would open the alternate route NFSR 2988AB. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest’s Travel Management Project Environmental Assessment made the decision to close the NFSR 2988C. This project physically closes this road and opens an alternative route.
