December 7-8, 2010
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
The 2010 meeting will be held at the Coeur d'Alene (formerly the Coeur d'Alene Resort) -- www.cdaresort.com -- located downtown with nearby restaurants and other cultural amenities. The hotel will hold rooms for us until Saturday, November 6. Our negotiated per diem rate is $72.00/night... brace yourself for 13% tax (State, lodging, and surcharge) on top of that. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 noon or prior. Make your reservations by calling the motel at 1-800-688-5253 and stating our group name: "US Forest Service".
Travel Information: The nearest airport is the Spokane International Airport, which is a 40-45 minute drive from Coeur d'Alene. The hotel provides a shuttle service to/from the airport for a fee of $45 one-way or $59 round-trip, with a 24-hour advance reservation required. The hotel charges $10 per night for parking (our thanks go to Lee Pederson who negotiated our rate down from the usual $17 per night!).
The agenda was last updated on December 2nd. Contact Lee Pederson if you have any questions, suggestions, etc. Need a reminder about what you promised to do at our last meeting? View the 2009 Action Items.
