Lee Thomas Trailhead

Accesses the Dead Horse, Dead Cow, and Lakes Trail Systems. (6300' above sea level) Trail open to hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bike riders.

How to get there:

From Paisley Ranger District Office:

Go ½ mile north on Highway 31, and turn left on Mill Street. Follow Mill Street to the "Y" intersection and take a right on Forest Road 3315. Stay on Forest Road 3315 for 20 miles; Turn left on Forest Road 28, then ½ miles to jct with 3411. Right on 3411, four miles to Lee Thomas. Trailhead is signed; entrance is on the south side of the road.

From Lakeview:

Take Highway 140 West 3 miles, then turn right onto County Road 2-16. Go on County Road 2-16 for 5 miles. Turn left onto County Road 2-16A and within 2 miles, you will be on Forest Road 28. Follow Forest Road 28 for 19 miles to road 3428. Turn left and drive 7 ½ miles to the intersection with road 34. Go straight through the intersection and you will be on road 3372. Continue for 10 miles and turn right on road 3411. The trailhead is one mile on the right.

From Bly Ranger District Office:

Head east on highway 140 for ½ mile. Turn left onto the Campbell Road and go for ½ mile to Forest Road 34. Turn right and drive 19 miles to Forest Road 3372. Turn left and go 10 miles to Forest Road 3411. Turn right and go one mile.
