Approximately 100 third grade students from the area of the Fishlake NF spend one night at this program, which lasts from noon of one day till noon of the next. Students learn in hands-on classes on stream ecology, fire management, plants and forests, archaeology, wildlife management, and fishing. The evening program includes a campfire, story telling, and visits from Woodsy and Smokey. There is no cost to participants. This program is in its 17th year!
