Long Pool
Attractions
Long Pool is on the Bayou Ranger District and located on Big
Piney Scenic and Recreational River. Visitors can view a large
natural pool across from the campground, high picturesque bluffs.
Most of the campground is in a mature pine forest with some sites
in a hardwood forest.

Directions
Take Arkansas 7 (paved) north from Dover for 6 miles, turn left
(west) on Arkansas 164 (paved) for 3 miles, turn right (northeast)
on County Road 15 (paved) for 3 miles, then turn left (northwest)
on Forest Service Road 1804 (gravel) for 2 miles. Or, take old
Highway 7 (left) from Arkansas 7 for 2 miles, go left down the
hill on Forest Service Road 1801 (gravel) for 2 miles, turn right
on Forest Service Road 1804 (gravel) for 3 miles.
