Rain continued throughout most of the day, with accumulations ranging from ½ up to almost 2 inches on the fire complexes. Temperatures also remained very cool. This storm is not being considered a "season-ending" ending event. Rather, this is a season-slowing storm. Fuel moisture levels are still at record lows and fire activity may increase if humidity levels fall again.

Fire Information

Crews on the Robert fire worked along the North Fork Road mopping up hot spots and dropping snags. Active surface fire was also observed burning in the Camas Creek area as the fire continues to move up into the old Moose burn. Crews also rafted across the Middle Fork of the Flathead River to work on the Middle Fork and Rampage complexes. The Trapper fire continues to be monitored by air.
