Weather Conditions: Scattered showers over the complex today kept fire
activity to a minimum.
Fire Behavior: Single tree torching and ground fire with flame lengths
less than 1 foot were observed.
Agency Jurisdiction: U. S. Forest Service, Flathead National Forest
Cooperating Agencies: BLM, BIA, FS, FWS, NPS, State of Montana, Flathead County
Estimated Containment: 30 percent

tenders, 15 pieces of heavy equipment (includes dozers and feller bunchers),

Threats: Powerlines and structures around Hungry Horse Dam, communities of Hungry Horse and Martin City, cabins in the Heinrud area, and Coram Experimental Forest and Research Natural Area, Spotted Bear area.

Special Information: Showers and cloudy conditions continue to aid firefighters in building direct fire line and mop up. California Interagency Incident Management Team 3 will transition to the Northern Rockies Management team Saturday morning.
