Fall Colors for 2008

Welcome to the Forest Service Fall Foliage Hotline for 2008

The Forest Service Fall Foliage Hotline telephone number is 1-800-354-4595.

To hear predictions about leaf color, foliage peaks, scenic drives, and other fall activities, select the different Regions across the United States for information updates.

The fall color season is early for some Regions reporting, so information updates may be brief, but continue to call as more specific information will be forthcoming.

In areas were rainfall has been stronger this year, the peak colors should be most vivid and vibrant, but there’s no guarantee on the exact timing.

At the end of the menu selections for each Region, due to the short fall foliage season for the Alaskan Region, the report will be listed below for that State.

At anytime you are in the sub menus, you may press 1 to get back to the main menu.

For States in the Northern part of the country PUSH 1
Rocky Mountain States PUSH 2
Southwestern States PUSH 3
Intermountain States PUSH 4
Pacific Southwestern States PUSH 5
Pacific Northwestern States PUSH 6
Southern States PUSH 7
And our Eastern States PUSH 8

Continue to call the Forest Service Fall Foliage hotline as updates are made regularly.

Thank you.
