Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell statement on employee fatalities in Northeastern Area

WASHINGTON, June 22, 2010 -- Our deepest condolences go out to the families, friends, and colleagues of the two Forest Service employees, Dan Snider and Rodney Whiteman, and the contract pilot who sadly lost their lives yesterday when their plane crashed during an aerial pest detection survey in Pennsylvania. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is in charge of the investigation.
