Continental Divide National Scenic Trail Designation - Cuba Section
Designate and construct a section of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDNST) near Cuba, NM that connects two existing portions of the CDNST trail.
This project is has been placed on hold and is anticipated to resume in late 2013 or early 2014.

Continental Divide National Scenic Trail Proposed Action (PDF 401kb) The Santa Fe National Forest and Rio Puerco Field Office of the Bureau of Land Managment are initiating a project to designate and construct a section of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail near Cuba, NM. Both agencies are hosting an informational public meeting on January 27, 2012 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Cuba Ranger District Office in Cuba, NM. At the meeting we will present information on the proposed trail and have staff available to answer questions.
