Scoping Letter Attachment: Proposed Action Summary (PDF 771kb) The Inyo National Forest proposes to convey approximately 21 acres of National Forest land currently occupied by improvements at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area for up to 12 parcels of private land elsewhere in the State of California. The lands to be acquired are located within the boundaries of the Inyo, Eldorado, Plumas and Stanislaus National Forests except two administrative sites that are located outside the boundaries of the Inyo National Forest.
