The Mt. Hood National Forest proposes a restoration thinning project in stands ranging
in age from 47 to 73 years old. The project is located in the Clackamas River Ranger
District, Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon.
The purpose of this project is to thin second-growth stands to achieve multiple
objectives. These stands have already been thinned once but they have grown to the
point where thinning is again appropriate.
