Gypsy Models Simulator Readme Text

The Gypsy Moth Simulator is a PC based set of models run from the control panel shown below. It has context-sensitive help and provides access to the full life system model, the differential equation simulator, and to a model with an intermediate level of detail.

Gypsy Models Simulator Installation Instructions

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH ONCE BEFORE INSTALLING THE PROGRAMS.

To install the model on your PC, 4 megabytes of disk space is needed.

To install, insert disk 1 into the drive A and type the following:


                         >  A: {ENTER} 

                         >  install A C {ENTER}

NOTE: "C" is the drive letter of the hard disk where you want to have the program reside (replace "C" with D or whichever drive you want).


                 BE SURE TO START WITH THE FIRST DISK! 

                 THE DISK MARKED:   1 of 2.

Directories will be created.

THE DIRECTORY STRUCTURE WHERE THE PROGRAMS
WILL BE LOCATED IS

\GYPSYMTH\DEMO
