August 14, 2002: About a year
and a half ago Lloyd and I were involved in a National review
of the Stewardship program - one of the key activities was
a blind review of stewardship plans from across the country.
Out of that review came the recommendation for a desk guide
that would, in principal, result in better quality, and greater
uniformity in plans on a national scale. Periodically I've
circulated draft copies of this as they have been made available.
The desk guide is now in final printing and assembly - I expect
to receive copies for distribution in the next few weeks.
Attached is an advance copy in PDF form. I will be distributing
hard copies - but should you find this a valuable resource,
you may wish to print additional copies on your own. Please
feel free to do so.
