U.S. Carbon Budget Analysis Presentation
Richard Birdsey, Northern Global Change Research Program Manager, and Linda Heath, Research Forester, were invited by the U.S. to present the methods and results of the forest carbon budget analysis underlying the U.S. submission on land use, land use change and forestry at a side event of the 13th SBSTA meeting in Lyon, France. It is a discussion of the resulting estimates under Article 3.3 and 3.4 of the Kyoto Protocols. We have made an enhanced copy of the presentation available for downloading. We have written notes to accompany the slides, so it is informative to view the notes window in Powerpoint while viewing the slides.
