Currently analyzing 48 years of tree grade change in a northern hardwood stand harvested three times by individual-tree selection. And, currently establishing a commercial thinning study in a northern hardwood stand clearcut in 1934-35, precommercially thinned with several treatments in 1960, and now being readied for a series of commercial thinning treatments.
