Help on interpreting the 5-GCM Average Maps

The "Predicted GCM5_AVG" map depicts the average IV of the 5 GCMs. Refer to the (Summary All-5) for comparison. This map may be preferred if you are searching for a single map which averages the strengths and weaknesses of several individual GCM scenarios. Use these maps with caution as the averages may not make sense in certain cases - also refer to the FAQ to compare the area-weighted averages among the GCMs. The current/current_predicted and the potential shifts are also given for comparison purposes.
