National Logistics Workshop 2002

The National Logistics workshop was held in Reno, Nevada, March 5-7,2002 at the Atlantis Casino Resort. The workshop was open to any Incident Management position, but we strongly encouraged all Logistics people from any agency to attend. We especially encouraged trainees in Logistics positions to attend the sessions.

The workshop was designed to improve the working skills of Logistics Section staffs so that they would become more effective and responsive to the increasing complexities of today’s incidents – whether wildland fire or all – risk assignments. The future is presenting challenges unthought of ten years ago,… we must be ready!

Attendees brought questions, thoughts, experiences and solutions to the workshop. All were ready to participate in discussions and breakout sessions.
