LWCF Purchases–National Land Acquisition Plan

The National Land Acquisition Plan is the result of a directive included in the House Report of the FY 2004 Appropriations Act for Interior and Related Agencies. Existing disposal and consolidation authorities, public input methods on potential acquisitions, and reimbursements of all costs related with the transfer of military and other federal lands to the Department of Interior and the Forest Service are examined in this report. The Plan outlines long-term acreage and conservation objectives of federal land acquisition with respect to Departmental goals.

The Plan is available in a Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need the software Adobe Acrobat in order to read the document. You may obtain the software for free from Adobe if you do not have the software package.
