                CHAPTER 70 - RECORDS AND REPORTS

71 - RECORDS

71.1 - Case Files.  Organization of case files must follow the 
system prescribed for the conveyance file in FSM 5492.14.  
Transfer material from the case file to the conveyance file as 
instructed.  Most field offices find it desirable to group case 
files according to the granting authority.

71.2 - Status Records.  Regional Foresters shall develop 
procedures to ensure prompt notification to the status section of 
all right-of-way grants (FSM 5491.18).
