*-21.04 - Responsibility

   4.  District Ranger.  The Region 3 Small Tracts Act 
Procedural Guidelines provides for the redelegation of authority 
to District Rangers to process some items in the implementation 
of the Act and Regulations.  The following items as listed in 
Section 103 of the Guidelines are delegated to the District 
Rangers.

   1.  Receive applications.

   2.  Determine eligibility of applicants.

   3.  Determine eligibility of National Forest System Lands for

   conveyance.

   4.  Accept or deny applications.

   5.  Determine and/or approve estimates of approximate equal 
value.

   6.  Execute collection agreements in accordance with FSH 
1509.11.-*

   7.  Issue Decision Memos
