TIPPECONIC Forest Supervisor TITLE 7100 - ENGINEERING OPERATIONS CORONADO SUPPLEMENT NO. 2 EFFECTIVE 5/83 CHAPTER 7130 - SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE 7134.8 - Service and Maintenance Limitations The maximum repair action for Forest personnel to make repairs is hereby delegated as follows: Equipment Schedule For Replacement Heavy Position Within One Year Vehicles Equipment Forest Fleet Manager $750 $750 $3,000 Forest Engineer 50 750 3,000 District Fleet Manager 50 200 Maintenance Engineer 50 200 500 Operator 50 200 Purchasing Agent 50 200 Forest personnel cannot exceed this limit without approval from the Forest Fleet Manager. When it is necessary to exceed this limit, note on the invoice or purchasing document the date you received the authorization and the name of the individual authorizing the expenditure. Emergency repairs are exempt from prior approval but precaution shall precede that is and emergency and will be treated as such. All repairs are initially charged to the WCF. In cases of abuse or non-standard use, the cost will be zero adjusted to project funds, if so determined by the Board of Review, the operator may be charged for the repairs. Correct management codes must be included with repair invoice when forwarded to B&F All accidents shall be reported on SF-278, Supervisor's Report of Accident, SF-91, Vehicle Accident Report, and AD-109, Report of Damage to Government Property. For this purpose, accidents are defined as impact with any object that causes damage, however slight, to a vehicle or piece of equipment. Specifically included are damage to the underside of a vehicle, cracked windshields, headlights, and tail lights caused by flying rocks from other vehicles.
