Compliance with State Laws The above instruction impose, in addition to our moral responsibility, a legal responsibility to uphold and comply with the laws of the State of Arizona and the game laws in particular. As further consideration, any disregard or violation of these law on our part jeopardizes our relations with the Game and Fish Department and is therefore embarrassing to both agencies. Anything less than strict compliance with the game laws and Commission regulation will not be tolerated on this Forest. All employees hunting or fishing will familiarize themselves with the laws and regulations and new employees must be made aware of the residence and license requirements. Violation of State Laws is in violation of Forest Service rules of conduct. Conviction of such violation will result in disciplinary action of appropriate severity up to and including separation. 2. Use of Government Vehicles for Hunting Subject as we are to close and continuous scrutiny by the general public, we cannot afford to give even the impression of using Government equipment for personal use. Our actions must be above reproach. Any weapon whether personally owned or official can only be carried on duty time based upon specific authorization from the Regional Forester.
