December Holiday Events at Grey Towers

MILFORD, PA – A full holiday schedule of public tours and programs is planned for Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, PA, from Dec. 5-18, 2011, including an opportunity to see all three floors of the mansion beautifully decorated for the season by the Milford Garden Club, either on a guided tour (weekdays) or at your own pace (weekends).

The schedule of events can be found online at www.greytowers.org or by calling 570-296-9630. Highlights include:

Monday thru Friday, Dec. 5-9 and 12-16, 1 pm & 3 p.m.: Guided tours, all three floors of the mansion, beautifully decorated by the Milford Garden Club. $4.00 per person.

Monday Dec 5 thru Sunday Dec 18: Holiday Art Exhibit and Sale, plein air paintings by artists of Come Paint With Me and photographs by members of the Highlands Photography Guild, all creatively depicting Grey Towers and the landscape. Sponsored by the Grey Towers Heritage Association.

Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 am – 4 pm: FEE FREE Holiday Open House and refreshments. See all three floors of the mansion, beautifully decorated by the Milford Garden Club. Holiday music provided by the Pike County Chorale Society (time not yet determined).

Sunday, Dec. 11, 1-4 pm:
- Holiday Open House. See all three floors of the mansion, beautifully decorated by the Milford Garden Club, at your own pace. $4.00 per person. 
- Lost Art Lacers of North New Jersey demonstration.

Saturday, Dec. 17, 1-4 pm:
- Holiday Open House. See all three floors of the mansion, beautifully decorated by the Milford Garden Club, at your own pace. $4 per person.
-  Holiday music by the students of the Heidi Lee Carlton School of Music, accompanied by pianist Heidi Lee Carlton and violist Tim Jones, 2-3:30 pm.  

Sunday, Dec. 18, 1-4 pm:
	- Holiday Open House. See all three floors of the mansion, beautifully decorated by the Milford Garden Club, at your own pace. $4.00 per person. 

The Grey Towers Gift Shop is open from December 5-18 offering a 10% discount; consider shopping for unique holiday gifts provided by Eastern National Forests Interpretive Association and Grey Towers Heritage Association.
