Conservation Education Programs:
The Forest Service at Grey Towers offers a variety of conservation education programs for students grades 4-12. Teacher workshops and education programs are free of charge offered in partnership with other regional organizations and agencies.
Our conservation education programs are designed to teach students about bio diversity with a strong focus on the role of forests or forestry. We also hope to create a sense of individual stewardship fostered through experiential learning.
All programs are curriculum-based and meet Environment and Ecology standards in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

At present, we offer conservation education programs at GreyTowers.
Conservation Education field trips can include (grades 4-12) :
- short interpretive tour of mansion and gardens
- hike/program on Forestry Trail
- environmental activity/game
- Smokey Bear or Woodsy Owl (when available)
A covered area can be provided for your bagged lunch.
