Trailhead: Silver Star - Trailhead is at end of FR 4109. The trail
leads to top of Silver Star Mountain.

Description:
This trail follows an old road up toward Silver Star Mountain, gradually
climbing on rocky tread. The trail extends to the south on a much
rougher old road, down to Road L-1500. The road has been blocked at
the Forest Boundary with a series of trenches and root wads to block
4WD access. The route on the DNR land is now a gravel road, gated
at the bottom.
Features:
Wildflowers, huckleberries
and bear grass blanket the surrounding hillside. ZQZ
