Trail Description

When you leave Road 6300.057, you face a steep climb through a timber harvest area for about 1 mile. Mountain beavers have been digging tunnels in the area, making the trail hazardous for stock travel. The trail climbs to its junction with Purcell Mountain Trail #284 and continues to the summit of Purcell Mountain, the site of a former fire lookout.

Special Conditions: Not recommended for bicycles or horses.
