Mount St. Helens Web Site Features Photographs of 25 Years of Change

CD Containing High-Resolution Files Available to Media Represenatives

 

Vancouver, WA -- Monument staff recently re-photographed key long-term research plots and camera points to provide updated documentation of a quarter century of change around Mount St. Helens. The best of these photographs are now featured in a new section of the Monument’s web site. The site also features a handful of locations that offer a rare glimpse of the same point before and after the 1980 eruption and how those points have changed through time over the past 25 years.

Some “cleaning” of the raw scans is needed prior to publication.
