How To Use This Guide

This guide is designed to provide suggestions and answers to both technical and management issues on the subject of creating metadata for GIS geospatial datasets. It will hopefully answer many of your questions about the creation to publishing process of metadata and will, for the moment, only pertain to geospatial datasets with their associated databases. Databases outside the scope of geospatial data will not be addressed here.
