THE WESTERN INTERNATIONAL FOREST DISEASE WORK CONFERENCE
This year's conference will be held Monday, September 10, 2001 to Friday, September 14, 2001 in Carmel, CA.
The meeting will be held at the

The room rate will be $94 single or double occupancy. The deadline for reservations is 30 days prior to the meeting or August 10, 2001.

Inn (#3 on the map). The nearest airport is in
Monterey (about 10 miles) but the nearest large airport is San Jose (75
miles).
The Monterey Peninsula has an excellent Visitors and Convention Bureau at
(831) 626-1424. (There is a Monterey County Visitors Center across the
street from the Carmel Mission Inn in the Crossroads Shopping Center). If
you call them they will mail you a travel guide to Monterey County for
