FIELD TRIP INFORMATION

All-Day Field Trip along Hwy 140
1) Oak Problems, 2) Specimen Trees: World’s Largest White Pine, and 3) Fir Problems at Lake of the Woods Resort, Summer-homes, and Campgrounds – Ellen & Don Goheen, Katy Mallams, Kris Chadwick, Everett Hansen, and Alan Kanaskie.

***FIELD TRIP PRECAUTION***
Because weather conditions may vary, you'll need to be prepared for sun, rain, heat or cold. Bring appropriate field clothing and footwear, as well as sunscreen and insect repellent. Due to the hazardous condition of many of the trees we will be looking at, you will be REQUIRED to have an OSHA-approved hard hat to board the bus and participate in the field trips. Contact Don Goheen if you will need one provided for you - a limited number will be available.
