Added support for location information and state and county codes by doing the following: a. Added 2 fields to the SLF records as follows: Field 31. State code. Field 32. County code. b. Modified the code so that when a stand is added to the simulation, a Locate keyword is created that contains the latitude and longitude followed by state and county. The latitude is no longer coded on the StdInfo keyword (it was field 7). c. Modified the Edit Stand List file window to allow these new data to be entered. d. Modified the Help files to show the new format of the SLF records. 2. Modified the generate reports and graphs facility so that the newly generated forest type, stocking, and size class information is parsed when it is present. The code works with the old formats as well. That is, it will parse output that has no forest type, has forest type and no size and stocking, or if it has both. 3. Modified the parameters file for the new Event Monitor variables: ForTyp, SizCls, and StkCls. 4. Modified the Locate keyword support to include the state and county codes and removed the UTM data. It was never really supported in Suppose and has been dropped from the FVS input. 5. Changed the old name "Fuels and Fire Effects Model" to the standard name "Fire and Fuels Extension". This change was done is several places to insure consistent use of terms. 6. Fixed a problem with the "Pick Variable" windows where the labels on the list boxes were not being drawn. 7. Fixed the help files...it seems that an old set was used for the version 1.15 build. January 8, 2003: 8. Added Event Monitor variables: BMaxHS, AMaxHS, BMinHS, AMinHS, BNumSS, and ANumSS. Changed the description for the PASSALL keyword in keylist.prm and estab.kwd. Added the parameter field for PASSALL in estab.kwd. 9. Fixed the ShrubPC and ShrubHt keywords for the Cover Extension. April 9, 2003 10. Applied the following changes to the parms file: a. Corrected field 2 of the MistPref keyword to refer to AK instead of SE in the list of f2v values. b. Modified uneven-aged management actions to account for a diameter class increment that is not in sync with the diameter range that is specified. Adjusted Legacy Tree thinning parameters. c. modified uneven-aged management actions to allow thinning above maximum range diameter to maintain basal area or sdi stand target. d. Fixed spelling error in description of MortClas in keylist.prm e. Changed descriptions of PotFWind, FlameAdj, and SimFire keywords in fire.kwd. f. Added first cut of data base keywords and added program definitions that include that extension. April 21, 2003 11. Corrected the batch command for executing the RMVSS post processor. Second replaceable parameter needed to cite the *.key file instead of *.out file. 12. Corrected text scripts associated with the cfvolequ and bfvoleq keywords. Clarified the descriptions. 13. Developed an uneven-aged management action for Group Selection silviculture. Compiled previous efforts by Winkler, Donnelly, and Tech. Added Vandendriesche enhancements. Good approximation within the confines of a semi-distance independent model. 14. Reworked DOS batch command for removing empty SVS folder. Needed for Windows 2000+ operating systems. June 25, 2003 15. Modified the database extension keywords and added database support to many of the Windows-based FVS programs (base model plus FFE). 16. Modified the Sprout keyword. 17. Added support for the System keyword. 18. Changed support for several post processor programs (requries new post processors). 19. Modified the default for the third field of the YardLoss keyword. 20. Modified the the DSNIn and DSNOut keyword support for the DBS extension. July 25, 2003 21. Added dbs extension to programs: ls, ppls, ne, pppn (Windows only). Modified the Yardloss keyword to take into account the different interpretation for the SN variant. Also made the parameter labels easier to understand. 37. Changed the moisture categories on the SimFire keyword to match the FFE documentation. 38. The crx varaint now recognizes the annosus extension. 39. Modified uneven-aged group select to handle broader input parameter specifications. 40. Changed the 2 letter species alpha code for oregon ash in the CA variant from OA to FL to match the FVS code. 41. Added additional description on the sitecode keyword regarding Dunning codes, and simplified the description of site in the IE variant. Jan 28, 2004 42. Added dbs keywords MisRpts and CutList; corrected TreesOut to TreeList. 43. Added new CanCalc for the FFE. March 26, 2004 44. Added two new keywords FIXCW and CWEQN. Modified the default value of field 5 on the FIXDG, FIXCW, FIXMORT and FIXHTG keywords from 0.0 to 999.0 45. Added FFE to the wcx. 46. Changed the description on fields 6 and 7 of HTGSTOP so that they would be correct and match the Keyword Guide. May 21, 2004 47. Made a correction to the CWEQN keyword, added options for POTFLEN function for Surface fire flame lengths. Added a new keyword, DEFECT. Corrected the 2 digit alpha code for Cottonwood in the CS varaint, it was CW, it has been changed to EC.
