Added list of forest types for third field of the MODTYPE keyword for the SN variant. Removed the obsolete sixth field of the MORTMULT keyword and fixed the format for FIXDG and FIXHTG. The calls to the editor were removed for several post processors that have been rewritten so that they no longer need launch an editor. 2. Changed the names of the variables used in the Generate Reports and Generate Graphs functions for the FFE. Variables refered to as "Wild" and "Prescribed" fire variables are now refered to as "Severe" and "Moderate" (Sev. and Mod.). This will comply with the new terms used in the Fire and Fuels Extension. 3. Modified the parameters entries for several Fire and Fuel Extension keywords and Event Monitor entries. They include the following: The option to output the reports without headings has been removed except for the SnagOut keyword. The report is designed to be output to a special file and the others are designed to be output to the main output file. FuelBurn is renamed PileBurn FireType is renamed FlameAdj and this keyword can no longer be used to schedule a fire. PotFlame is renamed PotFire Added PotFTemp so that users can set the air temperature for the potential fire reports. FireCond is renamed SimFire and this keyword is the only way to schedule a fire. Added FuelModl so that user's can specify exactly which fuel models will be used and the weights used to compute the weighted average flame lengths. Added FuelMove to allow for moving fuel from one size class to another and from outside the stand to inside or inside to outside. Added DeFulMod to allow for the direct modification of the standard 13 (plus the custom model number 14) fuel models. This keyword can be used to completely define up to 16 additional fuel models. Added SnagPSft to replace field 2 of the SnagBrk keyword. Now, species specific proportions "initially" soft can be entered. SnagBrk was greatly modified to improve its simplicity. The meaning of Field 5 of the Salvage keyword was modified. Event Monitor changes: FireYear is the year of the most recent fire. CrBulkDn and CrownIdx, and TorchIdx have been added; they correspond to entries in the Potential Fire Report. PPotFLen and WPotFLen have been removed and replaced with a new function called PotFLen(arg1). When arg1 is 1, the length for a severe fire is reported and 2 for a moderate one. CoarseWD(…) has been renamed FuelLoad(…) with the same arguments. 4. The MinHarv keyword was modified to provide for more ways to specify min harvests. June 3, 2002: 5. Added a information in the descriptions for the BFDEFECT, BFFDLN, MCDEFECT, and MCFDLN that apply to the eastern US. 7. Modified SVS keyword to support creation of ground files. 8. Refined the FFE Salvage, PileBurn, and SnagFall keyword prompt strings. 9. Added new values for field 7 of the FixMort keyword. July 2, 2002 10. Added the new ThinCC keyword and modified the capabilities of SpMcDBH. July 22, 2002 11. Changed the default duff productions rates on the Fire Model's DuffProd keyword so that it matches the FFE-FVS and documentation. 12. Modified the species selection lists for the Mistletoe Model's MistPref keyword. July 23, 2002 13. Modified the CopySum keyword for the PPE so that it does not include an Open command. 14. Modified the definition of the ecfm program so that it includes the Partial Establishment Model rather than the full model. September 16, 2002 15. Fixed the values for the fifth parameter of the SVS keyword in basekeys.kwd. Changed default for field 2 of GROWTH for SN to 5. Removed unsupported values for field 1 of OUTPUT in estab.kwd, and changed default for field 2 to 17. 16. Added default values to description of PileBurn keyword. Corrected error with PotFMois keyword (moderate fire = 2, not 0). Set categories of FuelPool to match FFE user's guide (very slow, slow, fast, very fast). 17. Changed description of FuelTret keyword (so no stand entry/harvest is implied). 18. Added the 'x' executables (include insect and pathogen extensions) and removed the individual insect and pathogen executables from the program.prm file. FFE is included in the x executables available. 19. Changed the list of Event Monitor variables so that those defined by extensions are listed in the free form editor variables list.
