Release Notes for Version 1.13 of Suppose: N.L.Crookston RMRS-Moscow, May 17, 2000 Last revision of these notes: December 27, 2000 Changes from version 1.12 to 1.13: 1. Changed the identification of "Cases" in the report/graph generator to include leading zeros in the case number. So, C1 is now C0001, and case C23 is case C0023, and so on. This provides better sorting when the "List over Cases" is used in the report generator. 2. Fixed an bug that resulted in components being attached to a stand and a group (same component, attached to two places). In the process, the behavior of the Edit Simulation Window was slightly changed so that no stands or groups are set selected on start up. 3. Added support for the FixDG and FixHtG keywords. Fixed the parmsForm for several keywords which were writing the date/cycle to column 21. Added support for a tenth value (average diameter growth) of the first argument of the SpMcDBH function. Made 50=oak-hickory the default forest type for the ModType keyword in the Southeast variant. 4. ForType (forest type) is now parsed as part of the Summary Statistics report for the variants (Eastern) that report it. 5. Fixed a bug in the Variable Picker for reports and graphs whereby the program does not display the variable values for the case that is preselected. The program would switch from the preselected case to the first case. 6. Fixed a small error in the help file relating to the the format of the tree data. May 26: 7. The program would not change the length of the simulation correctly when a variant was selected that had a different default cycle length than the "current" variant. This problem was evident in the Southeast were the sn variant and so variant have differnet default cycle lengths and are used in the same places. June 9: 8. Fixed the way the AGPLabel is entered into the runs. June 14: RE: fix #7 in this list. I removed the fix as it created other problems. The bug reported in item 7 is still a problem. This is only a problem if the variant is changed and the workaround is to change the simulation time using the time window. Aug 23: Installed several updates to the parmeters file...includeing: Removed CntlZ from wsbwe.kwd, added SVIMAGES keyword for the fire extension. Added blue spruce, pinyon pine, western juniper, and gambel oak to the species list for UT, bringing the total to 14 species. Changed species listed as western white pine in all Central Rockies variants to southwestern white pine. Added three additional Uneven-Aged Management Actions. The original indiv. tree. selection (ITS) BA uses ThinDBH which ignores SpecPref inclusion. A new ITS-BA which uses ThinBBA was developed to enable species discrimation. Two new ITS Stand Density Index Management Actions were also developed; one with ThinDBH; one with ThinBBA. Aug 27: Added ktfm to program list, added "draw range pole" option to SVS. It will be ready in FVS "soon". Sept 11: Modified SVS keyword to draw subplots. Only works with SVS version 3.32 and above. Dec 27: Modified the parameters file, as follows: 1) Extensive changes were made to support what is now called the "General" and "Manual" Defoliation Models (a.k.a the Western Spruce Budworm Model. 2) Added FuelMove and modifed some other Fuels and Fire Extension keywords. 3) Modified the SiteCode keyword and fixed a problem with SDIMax.
