Release Notes for Version 1.10 of Suppose:

Changes from version 1.09 to 1.10:

1. An error resulting in Suppose not finding the parameters file has
been fixed. The problem occurred when Suppose.exe was started from the
same directory (usually c:\fvsbin) where suppose.prm is stored. The
error caused suppose to change the default directory, the program
would lose its pointer to suppose.prm.  This has been fixed.

2. The order of elements in the File menu has been changed so that
Exit is listed last. It was incorrectly listed second to last in
version 1.09.

3. Suppose would crash (on MS-Windows only) in the following case: A
list button is opened in the special circumstance where none of the
list elements are selected.  The user then moves the mouse, with the
first mouse button depressed, to an list element, then moves the mouse
out of the list box region, and then releases the mouse button.  This
problem was most evident in the expression editor but also could
happen in Simulation Notes, Edit Stand List Files, and Edit FVS Tree
Data.  The problem has been fixed.

4. A font selection change has been made for the MS-Windows version.
In the past, when users set their Windows default font to "Large
Fonts", which are 125% larger than the point size implies, many of the
text fields in Suppose would not fit and would be cut off.  Code has
been added to Suppose that checks if the selected default font is a
bit large and selects a smaller font when this is the case.  This code
may not be perfect (it works fine on the Forest Service contract
machines).  Please contact me if there are any problems.  The change
has resulted in a readable font that is not too big on MS-Windows that
have been set to "Large Fonts".

5. Support for the PRUNE keyword has been added.

6. Added support for a variant labeled 'cr' which recognizes 24
species codes and which should eventually replace the submodel labels
sw, sp, sf, lp, and bp.

7. Made the obsolete Model Type field in the StdInfo keyword inactive
for the Central Rockies models.

8. Included support FVSStand keyword and the FVSStand and TOSS post
processors.

9. Fixed the an error that caused in too much empty vertical space to 
be inserted in some keyword windows.

10. Corrected some errors in the tutorial.

11. A problem with the clear cut window that caused incorrect FVS
results has been fixed (the problem resulted in incorrect ThinDBH
keywords to be built when the percentile option is used).

12. A few cosmetic changes were made to the parms file entires that
support the base keywords.

13. More room is now allowed for text edit boxes on the time selection
windows.

14. A slight change was made in the default free form conditions.

15. Added support for the CAR variant and add mistletoe keywords to
the CA variant.  Fixed misspelled keywords in the parmsForm for
HtgMult and HtgStop.  Slightly changed a few keyword entries in the
Fuels and Fire Extension.

16. Modified the "Save As" option of Edit FVS Tree Data to address the
correct file types and corrected the prompt string.

17. Changed the keyword builder to accomodate the Budworm lite model.
