Jason Herynk
Fire and Fuels Analyst
Jason has recently begun working as a Fire and Fuels Analyst for Systems for Environmental Management (SEM). He received his Bachelor of Science in Geography/Biology from Kansas State University in 2003. After graduation, he worked as a GRA on a soybean aphid dispersion model. Other work experiences include working for the National Park Service as a data manager and GIS Specialist through the San Francisco Bay Area Inventory and Monitoring Program, and for the LANDFIRE project, mapping Fuel Loading Models (FLMs). Jason has been involved in FIREHARM processing and he is currently developing a western tree list that will integrate with LANDFIRE products.
