Thompson Flat Complex
FACT SHEET
Tuesday, September 5, 2000 (10:00 AM)

Rain this morning has slowed the fire’s activity.  On most of the complex, mop up is the primary mission.  Opportunities between rain showers for finishing direct fireline will be taken by firefighters working on the southern flanks of the Landowner Fire as they try to complete the line around the fire.  Concern for firefighter safety is still primary, since slippery slopes and muddy roads will pose new hazards for the crews.
