Helena IHC Location/Accommodations

The Helena Hotshots are based Helena, the capital city of Montana. The crew is physically located at the Helena Ranger District.

There is no government housing available and crewmembers are responsible for securing their own lodging. There are numerous rentals and the crewmembers are provided a list of rental opportunities prior to the fire season. Many crewmembers choose to share housing arrangements making rental costs very reasonable.
