"... Helping fire departments and the American Taxpayer!"

The Missouri Department of Conservation gave a brush truck to Eldridge Fire Department which was put into service in less than a week with a cost of only $468.88 for paint, batteries, some wiring and state inspection!

The Eldridge Fire Department went right to work and within the week had this truck registered and ready for use.

To quote Eldridge Fire Chief, Randall Norman; "We are very grateful that the new Firefighter Assistance Program has been implemented by the Department of Defense. Given our financial constraints, we do not have the funds needed to purchase these trucks."

See Chief Norman's letter for the details on how some dedicated volunteers got this brush truck into service ahead of schedule and in record time!

Contact your state FFP Manager or State Forester with questions or comments concerning the FFP program.
