FEPP was a huge asset on the Edna Buck Road Fire A faulty electrical fence started this fire that spread to 1,200 acres. Initial attack was done by local resources, as the fire grew; the District Incident Management Team was called. A Division type II team was called in on the second day, at that point the fire was 100% contained and mop up operations began. As Quoted by Ashley Folsom, NC FEPP Manager; "At one point, I realized that everything at the Incident Command Post, except the command trailer, was FEPP, along with some of the equipment on the fire. We had several full tracks with water tanks for mop up, all of the ICP equipment, the generators, the fuel truck, and a couple of 5000 gal tankers for water supply were FEPP." Base Camp
