The Forest Service's Aviation Management Branch has taken on an "Automated Flight Following" project in conjunction with DOI Office of Aircraft Services. More Information can be obtained from Bob Roth at rroth@fs.fed.us. The GeoMAC site will be used by the Interagency Public Affairs group at NIFC this year to display real-time fire information for the public. Click the GeoMAC link under Projects for more information on GeoMAC. The Fire & Aviation Management Common Spatial Data Dictionary is being built to provide a common data standard for the FAM staff. All standards are proposed and will not be adopted until the data steward for these data approves the standard. .
