The Forest Service Fire GIS Regional Office Contacts meet 2 to 3 times per year to coordinate activities and develop and propose fire related GIS data standards. The Geospatial Task Group (GTG) works with the Information Resource Management Working Team (IRMWT) to develop interagency spatial data standards and advise the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) on national geospatial issues affecting wildfire operations. Contacts on any of the lists will be able to help with locating data, hardware, or people in their respective organizations. .
