Heritage Stewardship Group
Heritage Stewardship Group (HSG) is a full service historic preservation and cultural resource management (CRM) team capable of tackling project compliance work on a variety of forests and lands of other agencies that no longer have the staff or expertise to accomplish federal and state required historic preservation work. Our goal is to provide quality and creative historic preservation and Section 106 (National Historic Preservation Act) Compliance, as well as data management, research and stewardship services. We are ready to help meet historic preservation compliance needs and preserve significant cultural resources for future generations.
Offerings
- Project Support; Quality, professional and scaleable historic preservation project support to Forest Service units, other Enterprise Teams and federal, state and local agencies,
- Program Management; heritage resource program management, tribal program management and land adjustment program duties to selected FS units on a retainer basis,
- Employee brokerage services; to balance FS unit workforces, placing short-funded FS employees in funded details providing services in historic preservation, CRM, lands, conveyance and related fields with funded work on other FS and non-FS units,
- Contract administration; for CRM and land adjustment, partnerships and project management in historic preservation, lands, conveyance and related fields.
