 What is the Record of Decision?

The Record of Decision (ROD) identifies:

• the alternative from the EIS the agency has chosen to implement.
• the rationale for choosing that alternative.
• the environmentally preferable alternative and explains whether all practable means will be employed to avoid or minimize environmental harm.
