Track: (Training Workshop)

This workshop will focus on the competencies that collaborative leaders need to partner with diverse groups and participate effectively in collaborative activities. This workshop will focus on collaborative leadership and how public agencies and other stakeholders can be effective when regulatory authorities overlap or when the problems or the solutions are unclear. Special emphasis will be devoted to both leadership theory and values. Participants will practice specific skills and techniques to become competent collaborative leaders.

  1. Explore collaborative leadership concepts.
  2. Practice core collaborative leadership skills.
  3. Identify one or two personal learning objectives for improving collaborative leadership competencies and skills.
